These Are A Few Of Our Favorite Things

Favorite Food’s

Mind you every place has at least one thing I could call a favorite and this list could be insane so I have to stop somewhere. There is something in this town for every taste and diet requirement.

Thorn's Showcase Lounge Their steamed clams and seafood chowder (best ever!) are my staples. Their “Bucket of Butt” is killer also!

Firebrand BBQ Breakfast burritos and brisket.

Seward Brewing Company Life isn’t complete without one of their pretzels

The Highliner Breakfast here is my favorite and their portions are great. I love their house made sauces.

Gold Rush Bistro Any of the Eggs Benedict with seafood!

13 Ravens Coffee & Books This is @ the Train Wreck across from the train depot, and she makes some Awesome coffee.

Resurrect Art Coffee House Gallery This is a must see and they are very “green” with great coffee.

Mudd Hutt This woman knows her coffee. Before 11 there is breakfast. Biscuits and gravy & sandwiches cant be beat, although they are just outside of town and if your not mobile a bit harder to get to.

Yes…Yes I understand that’s a lot of coffee but, what can a girl say? I am originally from the Seattle-ish area.

What Is There To Do?

Snagg'n Wagon You can rent everything needed to fish, or have them take you on a guided fishing tour.(Land based) What could be better then the freshest, largest, best tasting fish you have ever had?

Hike Exit Glacier with Exit Glacier Guides or take their shuttle out to hike it on your own.

Alaska Sea Life Center They are an animal science and research center. Go check out the animals, go on a tour or a special animal encounter.

There is so much to do in Seward it is insane. Hike a trail, take a tour, go kayaking, gold pan, walk the shops and check out the goodies. You wont find commercial cruise ship owned or sponsored stores. Virtually everything in our lovely town is locally owned and operated.
